Erika's Loves

 So in keeping with the theme of Valentine's day, I wanted to share a list of things I love. This silly goofy post, is on material things, just because my thankful lists from November would be pretty much identical if I did it that way. Without any further ado here is my list.

1. I love Lindor truffles all flavors. Probably my favorite candy.

2. I love fluffy comforters

3. I love cowgirl boots

4. I love COFFEE!!!!!!

5. I love books

6. I love classic movies

7. I love music

8. I love new dance gear

9. I love fashion items

10. I love my tech (tablet, phone, CAMERA, laptop)



Okay, because it's me I have to sneak in a few non-material loves too :)

1, I love my country life and the beauty of the area where I live.

2. I love sunsets

3. I love long chats with friends

4. I love little daily routines that make up a big life

5.  I love driving the truck with the windows down in the summer

6. I love getting dressed up

7. I love listening to my family interacting with one another as I am in my room

8. I love when sunshine floats in from every window in the house

9. I love when my dad has a day off

10. I love sharing pieces of my life in a blog

What I am Learning as a Student Rep

    Student Representative? What's that? It is a great  role that one girl and one boy run for every year at my co-op. Last year two of my wonderful friends were elected. Rachel and Jakob did a fantastic job. They are part of the reason I decided to run for Student Rep this year.     To start this road of politics I had to write a speech. I spent some time trying to figure out what I wanted to say. I knew what I wanted to say, but I felt like I couldn't phrase it convincingly enough. Signs You Might Be Entering Adulthood

 The last month or so my head has been spinning with exciting life experiences, fun adventures and just plain mundane tasks. My first bit of advice for you on this post is no matter what age you are and people tell you not to try and grow up to fast. Do it! Adulthood comes hurling at you like a bullet. It is way better to just take it one step at a time. Remind me of this periodically when I want to charge ahead into life :)   1st Sign Adulthood is Near ~   " You Get Your Driver's License"   Getting my driver's license was one of the more challenging, yet most satisfying things I have done in a while. Everything Fall For Erika

We are officially a month into my favorite time of year. As anyone who knows me or has been following this blog for a while knows, September through December are my favorite months of the year. I love all the holidays, weather, fashion, food, events, all of it! It makes me so happy and makes me smile. Here are a few things that I have been doing to get in the fall mode. 1. Fall Decor   My mom put this center piece together for our dinning room  and I am in love!  2. Flannel  I have had a recent obsession with flannel. I love wearing them with jeans, paired over a favorite tee, tied around with waist for jacket later, or under a sweater for a pop of pattern.
