Some Of My Favorite Things About Fall

   September through December is seriously my favorite time of the year. As October has shown up I have literally gone ballistic with excitement. I spent last weekend helping out at my towns harvest party. We had hayrides, straw bales, human fuse-ball, pumpkin donuts, vendors, and fun music. I love the small town get together s. It was a lot of fun and these last few weeks. The leaves have started changing colors and leaves float down in swirls. It is like God is up there with a paint brush and paint throwing splashes of color all over the world.  I love this time of year.
   So now on to the list of things I love about fall.
       1. Apple Cider
       2. Fires in the Fire Place
       3. Changes of Color
       5. Coffee
       6. Fall Smelling Candles
       7. Meals Involving Squash
       8. Pumpkin Treats
       9. Plaid Shirts
      10. Sweaters
      11. Boot Toppers
      12. Crisp, Cold Mornings
      13. Celebrations
      14. Swirling Leaves
      15. Curling up Under a Quilt Reading a Book
      16. Everything That Surrounds Fall.

What I am Learning as a Student Rep

    Student Representative? What's that? It is a great  role that one girl and one boy run for every year at my co-op. Last year two of my wonderful friends were elected. Rachel and Jakob did a fantastic job. They are part of the reason I decided to run for Student Rep this year.     To start this road of politics I had to write a speech. I spent some time trying to figure out what I wanted to say. I knew what I wanted to say, but I felt like I couldn't phrase it convincingly enough. In the end I decided to state a few ideas I had and not over promise. I went with the idea that we could worry about the election and then go from there with what we wanted to do as a group.     It was a fun election and in the end I was elected the girl student rep. Signs You Might Be Entering Adulthood

 The last month or so my head has been spinning with exciting life experiences, fun adventures and just plain mundane tasks. My first bit of advice for you on this post is no matter what age you are and people tell you not to try and grow up to fast. Do it! Adulthood comes hurling at you like a bullet. It is way better to just take it one step at a time. Remind me of this periodically when I want to charge ahead into life :)   1st Sign Adulthood is Near ~   " You Get Your Driver's License"   Getting my driver's license was one of the more challenging, yet most satisfying things I have done in a while. I love my new freedom to go where I need to without having to mess up my parents schedule. But wait...... this right of passage can be a trap and a sure sign you are headed to adulthood. Everything Fall For Erika

We are officially a month into my favorite time of year. As anyone who knows me or has been following this blog for a while knows, September through December are my favorite months of the year. I love all the holidays, weather, fashion, food, events, all of it! It makes me so happy and makes me smile. Here are a few things that I have been doing to get in the fall mode. 1. Fall Decor   My mom put this center piece together for our dinning room  and I am in love!  2. Flannel  I have had a recent obsession with flannel. I love wearing them with jeans, paired over a favorite tee, tied around with waist for jacket later, or under a sweater for a pop of pattern.
